Bring one of the Separatists’ most feared battle droids to your collection with the Droideka 3D wooden model from the officially licensed Star Wars collection by UGEARS. Recognisable by its distinctive shape and ability to transform from a compact sphere into a combat-ready machine, the Droideka served the Trade Federation and the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars.
Inspired by its appearance in the Star Wars™ saga, this mechanical model recreates the Droideka’s unmistakable silhouette, rotating head and twin blaster arms. Its standout feature is a clever transformation mechanism that lets you manually fold the model into a compact ball before releasing it to spring open into its battle stance.
The interactive design offers two ways to trigger the transformation. Lift the folded model above a table and release it for a straightforward deployment, or lock the mechanism into one or two notches and roll it to activate the transformation in a more dramatic fashion. The twin blaster arms can also be folded and deployed independently, adding extra versatility to the model.
Made from high-quality coloured plywood with laser-pre-cut wooden parts, the Droideka combines mechanical ingenuity with an eye-catching display design. Durable rubber bands power its transformation mechanism, bringing the droid to life without batteries or electronics.
