Crafted from full-colour plywood and cardboard elements, this detailed model captures R2-D2™’s unmistakable appearance and distinctive mechanical features. But this is more than a display piece: a spring-powered drive mechanism lets the droid roll forward, while movable legs provide two different display poses. Stand him upright or tilt him forward to recreate his characteristic stance from the films.
The fun continues with a built-in LED mini projector that shines colourful Star Wars™ images through the droid’s eye. Activate the projector using the switch on top of the model and bring scenes from a galaxy far, far away to life. Interchangeable image slides are stored in a dedicated compartment inside the body and can be changed using the included tool.
To set R2-D2™ in motion, turn the disc concealed beneath his head to wind the spring mechanism.
