This detailed model celebrates the legendary Rebel fighter that played a decisive role in the battle against the Galactic Empire and its devastating Death Star.
This impressive two-in-one set combines a highly detailed X-Wing Starfighter with a motorised display stand inspired by the Death Star’s surface. Once mounted, the fighter moves from side to side, recreating the dynamic manoeuvres of the legendary trench run. A transparent acrylic support adds a floating effect, bringing the spacecraft to life on your display shelf.
The model features several interactive details that capture the spirit of the original film. Open the cockpit canopy, remove the front and rear landing gear, and press the R2-D2-inspired button on the fuselage to open the lower hatch. The signature S-foils are the centrepiece: open the wings and lock them into attack position, ready for the decisive assault on the Empire’s superweapon.
The fighter attaches to its stand magnetically, allowing it to be detached for display or play. The motorised movement is powered by three AA batteries or through a USB Type-C connection. Batteries and USB cable are not included.
For an even more impressive display, the X-Wing is compatible with UGEARS’ official Star Wars TIE Fighter model. Using the included connectors, the two sets can be joined to create a larger Death Star-inspired scene that recreates the tension and excitement of the climactic trench run.
